Temporary airspace restrictions Melbourne March-2024

These airspace arrangements form part of a comprehensive suite of security arrangements being implemented for the event.

The changes include a temporary restricted area (TRA) with the lateral and vertical dimensions outlined in Airservices’ Australia AIP SUP (AIP SUP), and a low-level aircraft exclusion area.

Any aircraft wishing to operate within restricted airspace must contact Victoria Police.

All pilots flying within the vicinity of Melbourne during this period are required to read the AIP SUP carefully and monitor NOTAMs for any changes.
