- It can be easily updated and therefore remain current, and

The VFRG is divided into five main sections, plus an index. These sections are all high-res, so that the diagrams and tables are clear. When printed the VFRG becomes an uncontrolled document, so please check regularly to ensure you have up-to-date information.
- General (4.88MB) – the rules, licensing, pilot responsibilities, radio procedures.
- Pre-flight planning (6.31MB) – meteorology, briefing, notification, information services.
- Operations (8.29MB) – communications, non-controlled aerodromes, controlled airspace, sport aviation, helicopter operations.

Remember
- Your first, and primary reference for all maps and charts should be controlled documents such as NAIPs.
- Plan your route thoroughly, and use current charts and documents. Always check ERSA, NOTAMS, and the weather, before you fly.
