The Enforcement Policy and Practice Branch
is responsible for developing enforcement policy, coordinating enforcement and monitoring, on a centralised basis, all aspects of CASA's enforcement related activities.
The Enforcement Policy and Practice Branch provides specialist skills to investigate complex matters that could result in a variety of outcomes including referral to the Commonwealth DPP for prosecution. The Enforcement Policy and Practice Branch, through the Manager Enforcement Policy and Practice, also authorises the issue of Infringement Notices.
