Changing your details recorded with CASA
CASA's database holds address and contact details for everyone who holds an Aviation Reference Number (ARN). This includes both individuals and organisations. CASA staff use this database to contact people in the aviation industry, issue certificates and keep the aviation industry up-to-date with legislation changes and other information.
If you need to change your address or other contact details, you can do this instantly through the CASA Self Service Portal.

We may not have received your changed contact details
If you notified us through the on line address update form between 10 and 14 August, technical problems with our computer system may have caused your changed contact details to be lost. More details on the CASA Licences and Registrations page.
Note: In some circumstances, you will not be able to change your details online. These are described below.
Change of name
If you are an individual and you need to change your name or the spelling of your name recorded on your ARN you will need to inform CASA of the change in writing and supply supporting documentation, as requested. This cannot be done through the web form.
Following is a brief guide in relation to CASA's requirements - for further detail please ring CLARC (CASA) on 1 300 737 032.
- If you believe CASA has made a spelling error in your name, please forward a copy of your passport or birth certificate along with a covering letter. Please include details of any licenses, certificates etc which may require reissue.
- If you have changed your name you will need to provide proof acceptable to CASA that the change of name has been registered. The proof required will depend on where, when and how your name was changed, but it is likely that you will need to supply some form of change of name registration certificate, as issued by the appropriate State government body.

Organisations who need to advise CASA of a change of name should ring the CASA service centre on 136 773 to discuss.
Aircraft registration holders
If you are an aircraft Registration Holder or Registered Operator you may change your personal details using the 'Change your details on the web' facility.
Form 030 should be used by the Registration Holder to notify the Australian Civil Aircraft Register under CASR 47.115 of a change in aircraft details.
If you wish to notify CASA about an appointment of a new Registered Operator or about a change of ownership (rather than just a change to a name or address) you should use Form 032 (Appointment / Cancellation of Registered Operator Under CASR Part 47) or Form 027 (Transfer of Ownership).
The Civil Aircraft Register will issue a new certificate of registration as required by relevant changes.
