Late notification of transfer of ownership will result in cancellation of registration

If you become the owner of a registered aircraft and do not apply to be the Registration Holder within 14 days of the transfer of ownership, then CASA MUST cancel the registration as required by the regulations.

CASA's charge for regulatory services

From 1 January 2006 CASA is charging for a wide range of regulatory services as the first step in a move to full cost recovery.

CASA's charge for miscellaneous enquiries

A fee applies for the provision of information in response to enquiries relating to aircraft registration history and other general enquiries about aircraft data. The fee does not apply to questions about aircraft registration applications and processes.

The fee will be charged under Fees Regulation 24.8 at an hourly rate of $100. A minimum fee of $50 applies. Further details about fees are available at: http://www.casa.gov.au/corporat/fees/current.htm.
