CAO 100.66 – Maintenance authorities — EASA equivalents

This Order is intended to provide an equivalent of the EASA categories of aircraft maintenance licence A, B1 and B2 as a transitional arrangement pending introduction of these categories of licence into the Civil Aviation Safety Regulations 1998.

Australia–US bilateral agreement listing

5 December 2006

The Bilateral Aviation Safety Agreement (BASA) between Australia and the US came into effect on 28 November 2006 with an exchange of diplomatic notes. The BASA allows for the import to the US of certain aeronautical products designed and manufactured in Australia, and Australian acceptance of certain FAA approvals.
